City Love: Bar to Bar to Bar

The Brits really have it right, don’t they. When you visit multiple bars in an evening “pub crawl”  sounds so much more appropriate than “bar hop,” especially by the end of the night.

It’s not the first time I’ve thought that the British version of some expression was more accurate. I remember signs in Heathrow for “Baggage Re-claim.” And it’s true, you are re-claiming a bag that was yours all along.

So thanks for your precise language England. I’m off to hop or crawl with my Secretly English Husband and our crowd of various-nationality friends.

Viva la Pub Crawl!
